As a female engineer, I really understand how important this is, although I have to thank my family for encouraging me to go into engineering when I thought it was just some boring program for boys. I am lucky to have such a supportive family that knew me better at 17 than I knew myself!

Banning yoga pants because they’re “distracting” to adolescent boys? Is this really how we’re raising kids these days? I’m all for appropriate attire at school but if we are forcing young women to dress in a certain way for the benefit of young boys - what happens when those boys become men? Will they continue to expect women to dress certain ways to benefit them? Women can’t make progress in the work place if men like that.
